We are not able to treat people with indwelling urinary catheters.

For referrals relating to the provision of continence products we aim to offer appointments within 2 weeks or 1 week - if the referral is received as part of a discharge from hospital.  For referrals requiring a clinic appointment these we aim to offer these within 6 weeks of the referral.

Where products are required these can take 1-2 weeks from confirmation of order.

Service Delivery

Our service runs clinics on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, at these venues:

  • Braintree

Referral process

These can come from healthcare professionals: GP, practice nurse, hospital, social services department, district nurse, health visitor, midwife, care agency or residential home.  We also accept referrals directly from the public.

All referrals are reviewed and depending on the type of problem you are experiencing you will be seen at home or in a clinic.

First appointments at home are usually within 2 weeks from us receiving the referral, in a clinic it is within 6 weeks.
