All patients are given a comprehensive, holistic assessment and treatment is tailored to the individuals needs

We will provide appropriate continence products where necessary to meet clinical need.

Reassessment as is done either annually or as required.

Service Delivery

We run nurse-led clinics for children with primary nocturnal enuresis. Alongside these clinics, we run community paediatrician-led clinics for children with daytime wetting and complex conditions.

Initial continence assessment is done at home or a place suitable for the child and/or parents/guardian, such as the child's school. Follow-up appointments are done either at home, nursery, school, clinic or hospital, if necessary.

Initial assessments and interventions in enuresis are undertaken by the school nurse, who makes appropriate onward referrals as necessary.

We run ten clinics a month at:

  • Springfield Green Clinic, Chelmsford
  • Carousel Centre, Braintree
  • St Peter's Hospital, Maldon

Referral process

You must be referred by a healthcare professional, such as a GP, nurse, health visitor, school nurse or social care.
