Carecall Service

Carecall is designed to provide support and reassurance to enable older, more vulnerable or disabled people to remain safely within their own homes. Customers can rest assured knowing that there is someone available to help them 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

We offer an accredited 24/7 alarm monitoring service and a range of simple technology to meet the individual needs of our customers and to enable them to get help whenever they may need it.

Customers can simply press a button on the alarm and it will take them straight through to the Carecall control centre. The customer’s address is automatically detected and trained control centre staff will be on the phone to assist and, if needed, help can be on its way in minutes.

About this service

Service details

Carecall can offer a range of technology to meet the individual needs of our customers, this includes:

  • A basic alarm and pendant that can be worn around the neck or wrist.
  • A mobile device that can be used anywhere in the country.

When either of these devices are activated, a call is generated to the Carecall control centre.

Our skilled control centre operators will be able to identify you and your location and will quickly assess the situation and request help if needed.


Eligibility criteria

Carecall’s full installation and monitoring service is available to anyone living in Essex.

If you live outside Essex, Carecall can still provide you with an alarm and monitoring service. Contact us for more details.

Free installation for new customers

If you have never had an alarm before you may be eligible for free installation and three months monitoring for free so please contact our team for more details.


Service delivery

The Carecall control centre is based in Colchester at Provide HQ and is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

Our installation and technical team are based at Tekhnicon House in Braintree. 

We install alarms within Braintree, Chelmsford, Maldon and Basildon Districts and surrounding areas and can provide alarms and monitoring services anywhere in the UK if required.
