Providing blood-taking services at GP Surgeries and in patients own homes. Service is available 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

About This Service

Eligibility criteria

The Phlebotomy Service is only available for housebound patients or those with a medical or learning disability who have difficulty in getting to their surgery or local hospital.

Patients in a nursing home cannot access this service.

 

Service details

Our staff cover blood-taking clinics on various mornings at several GP surgeries in the Colne Valley and Braintree Localities.

We also provide a domiciliary service for housebound patients. We are trained in anti-coagulation and use Coag-u-check machines for INR patients.

Our staff cover blood-taking clinics on various mornings at several GP surgeries in the Colne Valley and Braintree localities - Kelvedon, Tiptree, Marks Tey, Coggeshall, the Hedinghams, Earls Colne, Halstead, Finchingfield, Bardfield, Broomfield, The Walthams, Braintree and surrounding villages.

We also provide a domiciliary blood-taking service for housebound patients.

Referral process

You must be referred by your GP or hospital.

When & Where
