A whole school self-review is available to confirm provision and provide the first step in identifying priorities for further development. Schools are able to use a local benchmarking tool enabling them to evidence the foundation of health and well-being achieved is still in place or being met for the first time for new schools.
Enhanced has been designed to help schools develop the wider thinking and planning they will need to do in order to achieve better outcomes around health and well-being for children and young people. It has also been designed to help schools to strive for lasting health and well-being behaviour changes in children and young people, with particular focus on providing targeted support for those who are most at risk.
The Enhancement Model follows the 'plan, do, review' cycle.
